Free link-in-bio pages, without a subscription
Import your Linktree into a free link-in-bio alternative
You can build a new free page from a public Linktree URL without typing each link again. Importing creates a separate draft, so you can review the result before changing the link your audience already uses.
Start with the public page you want to bring over
Open the Linktree you own or have permission to copy and use its public linktr.ee URL. The importer reads public content; it does not ask for your Linktree password or sign in to your account. Password-protected pages and private content cannot be imported through this flow. Check that the page opens while you are signed out.
In the alinkin.bio editor, open Import from Linktree, paste the URL and choose Preview import. You can see the name, bio, link titles and image count before creating an account. Tracking parameters on a copied social link are removed from the source URL; your actual link destinations remain part of the content.
Generate a separate free draft
Sign in or create a free account, then choose Generate my free page. Importing creates a new private page rather than replacing an existing one. If the suggested handle is already used, the importer chooses a free variation. Existing edits in the editor are saved before you move to the new page, so review any save error before trying again.
The importer copies public links, the bio, social profiles and supported styling. Available profile photos, backgrounds, covers and link thumbnails are copied into our private image storage and re-encoded. You can change the result in the editor without editing the source Linktree, and the original page remains available where it was.
Review the items that do not transfer exactly
Read the import notes before publishing. Analytics, subscribers, payment information, private content and interactive widgets do not transfer. Available fonts and button shapes are used to approximate the source design, so a distinctive Linktree style may look different here. If an image could not be copied, you can upload a permitted original yourself.
The current page limits are 40 links and 20 artwork images, plus a separate profile photo. A long bio may need shortening to fit 160 characters. Check link order, labels, thumbnail choices and social icons in the preview. A product or video destination may transfer as a regular link even when its interactive presentation cannot be copied.
Publish, test and then update your public bio
The imported page stays private until you click Publish page. Keep it as a draft while you make corrections. Before sharing it, check that you are comfortable making the name, bio, enabled links and used images public. An unpublished page is not listed in Discover and its image assets are only accessible to its owner.
Once published, open the new alinkin.bio URL on a phone while signed out and try the links. Then replace the old Linktree URL in the social bios you control. Review pinned posts, website buttons, printed materials and other places where you shared the old URL. Importing does not automatically redirect your old Linktree or update those external references.
Before you share
- The source Linktree is public and you have permission to copy it.
- The preview contains the links you expected.
- Import notes and missing images have been reviewed.
- The new draft's handle, bio, link order and design are correct.
- The published page works while signed out on a phone.
- Your social bio and other references now use the intended page URL.
